SCREENPRINTS

All screenprints are based on paintings of the same titles. They have been separated into up to eighteen colours by hand and then each colour screenprinted individually, also by hand, on Somerset Textured 300gm acid-free paper at Gresham Studio, Cambridge, England.

As well as the number of impressions printed there are 10 artist's proofs, 3 printer's proofs, 1 hors commerce and 2 archive copies.

All stencils used to print the editions have been destroyed.

LITHOGRAPHS

The original work was hand-drawn by the artist onto grained film which was then transposed to aluminium plate and printed by off-set lithography by the Curwen Studio at Curwen Chilford Prints Ltd. Each print was blind embossed by hand to create an effective border for the work, and was signed and dated by the artist.

As well as the number of impressions printed there are 7 artist's proofs plus 2 printer's proofs and 1 archive proof.

The plate used to print the edition has been destroyed.
